Walmart eCommerce Recruiting Tour to Visit the University of Arkansas

The Walmart mobile recruiting vehicle will make a stop on the University of Arkansas campus on Tuesday, Nov. 14.  "Change the Way the World Shops" is a campus-based tour where students will experience the future of eCommerce with the ability to personally engage with the Walmart brand and explore career opportunities through the latest technology.

The recruitment RV features multiple interactive exhibits that showcase Walmart technology and company culture, with VR-based tours of the offices. Students can also explore shopping experiences with the Walmart eCommerce family of brands like Jet.com, Moosejaw, Shoes.com, and ModCloth.

Multiple touchscreens provide information on company history and teams and role-specific challenges where students solve real problems that employees encounter every day. For example, students interested in engineering can participate in Hack the Box, an online platform designed to test hacking abilities and learn about machine hacking and its implications on cyber security.

The Walmart eCommerce Recruiting Tour will visit the University of Arkansas campus from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14. The RV will be located on Buchanan Avenue, east of the Donald W. Reynolds Center.
