Women's Workforce Conference Focus Is Diversity, Innovation and Creativity

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Early-bird registration is open through Jan. 10 for the 2018 Women in the Workforce Conference, a one-day, interactive conference set for March 1.

Laura Phillips, senior vice president for global sustainability at Wal-Mart Stores Inc., will be the keynote speaker for the conference, which is designed to empower female professionals to enhance workplace skills relevant to their success.

Participants who register by Jan. 10 pay $220 each, a discount from the regular registration of $260.

This year’s event will include hands-on learning activities and sessions will focus on this year’s theme: “Diversity. Innovation. Creativity.”

“The Women in the Workforce conference provides impactful conference sessions that will help equip participants with knowledge and skills to improve job performance and workplace satisfaction,” said Heather Sprandel, conference coordinator.

Conference planners moved the event to Record, 104 SW A St. in Bentonville, to use the event center’s open-floor plan to accommodate hands-on learning activities.
