What if you could work from your personal devices and campus computer labs without the hassle of transferring files each time?  It's possible now thanks to a new service called Kumo.

Now available in Tech Spot computer labs within the Arkansas Union, Northwest Quad, J.B. Hunt and ADSB, Kumo allows users to set up their favorite cloud storage site, including Google Drive, Box and Microsoft OneDrive, as a local storage drive.

To get started, simply follow the three steps below. You can also visit kumo.uark.edu to get started.

  1. A prompt will appear in the system tray, located in the lower right-hand corner of your screen, select Setup and sign in with your UARK account.  Please note, Google Drive users may have to enter their email address and follow the authorization prompts.
  2. Authorize each cloud service you wish to use by selecting the dropdown menu and clicking Authorize.
  3. You can remove Kumo access at any time by selecting the Deauthorize button at kumo.uark.edu.

After you successfully set up Kumo, your cloud service will appear each time you log in, allowing you to access and save files as you normally would.
