ROGERS, Ark. – The World Trade Center Arkansas has compiled and released the first comprehensive Arkansas Exporter Directory . The directory is a catalog of exporting Arkansas companies and companies with exportable products and services. The directory is organized by industry and is a tool to organize business-to-business meetings with Arkansas companies and foreign clients interested in the products and services of these companies.

“The Exporter Directory was a simple solution to a profound need in the Arkansas trade community,” said Dan Hendrix, president and CEO of the World Trade Center Arkansas. “Multiple foreign clients and even governments have asked for a list of exporting companies like this. There are different lists available, but some are proprietary or industry specific and none were comprehensive. Our directory contains hundreds of Arkansas companies and can be updated every year for accuracy.”

The center partnered with several state organizations to obtain the information in the directory. The Arkansas Aerospace and Defense Alliance, the Arkansas Farm Bureau, the Arkansas Economic Development Commission and the Arkansas Secretary of State’s Office all provided information for the directory .

By partnering with Secretary of State Mark Martin, the center was able to send emails to every company in Arkansas so they could voluntarily join the directory.

The Arkansas Exporter Directory is available on the World Trade Center Arkansas website and can be downloaded for free as a PDF. For companies that wish to be added, a link on the Exporter Directory page will take them to a form that they can fill out to provide basic information.

There is no charge to be included in the directory.

“We only ask that companies be exporting or have exportable products or services,” Hendrix said.
