Women in the Workforce Conference Offers Discounted Registration to U of A Faculty and Staff

University of Arkansas faculty and staff can get a 10-percent discount off registration for the March 1 Women in the Workforce conference in Bentonville.

This year's one-day, interactive conference to help female professionals enhance relevant workforce skills will focus on diversity, innovation and creativity. Participants can network with their peers and top female professionals in the area, including keynote speaker Laura Phillips, senior vice president for Global Sustainability for Walmart Stores Inc.

Participants can register online, and the cost is $260. Current U of A faculty, staff and students receive a 10 percent discount. Registration includes lunch, workshops and networking opportunities. This year's conference location is Record, 104 S.W. A St., Bentonville.

"The Women in the Workforce conference provides impactful conference sessions that will help equip participants with knowledge and skills to improve job performance and workplace satisfaction," said Heather Sprandel, conference coordinator.

The conference will include hands-on learning activities.
