Hogs End ALZ Monthly Meeting

Hogs End ALZ — University of Arkansas RSO — will hold its final meeting of the semester at 7 p.m. April 3, (SCEN 406). The organization will have representatives from Neurotrack Technologies Inc. joining us to discuss early detection and prevention of Alzheimer's disease. Through the use of novel eye-tracking technology and digital behavior change principles, Neurotrack enables their users to focus on specific areas of health to improve risk factors related to cognitive decline. Members from Neurotrack's executive team will be calling in to talk about the company's mission and the science that supports the company's goals.

Speakers:

Jordan Glenn (VP, clinical development): Exercise physiologist and behavior change expert. Glenn has a doctorate from the University of Arkansas and has worked both in academic and industry settings. He has a prominent research background and strong publication record in the area of older adults, focused on physical activity and nutritional interventions for successful aging.

Nick Bott (chief science officer): Clinical neuropsychologist and research scientist at Stanford University. Bott's research in older adult populations focuses on cognitive decline and prevention through the identification of factors associated with successful cognitive aging trajectories, as well as the validation of digital assessments of cognition.

The organization will also be electing officers for the 2018-19 academic year. 

This event is open to the public.
