School of Art Welcomes Yale Art Critic Molly Zuckerman-Hartung to Campus
The School of Art at the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences welcomes acclaimed artist and art critic Molly Zuckerman-Hartung to campus.
Molly Zuckerman-Hartung is known for pushing the boundaries as a contemporary artist, experimenting and using multiple techniques throughout her work. She is a teacher and was appointed critic in painting and printmaking at Yale in 2015.
The School of Art lecture series hosts Zuckerman-Hartung tonight at the Hillside Auditorium, room 206 at 5:30 p.m.
Molly Zuckerman-Hartung received her B.A. from Evergreen State College and her M.F.A. from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her work is included in the collections of institutions such as the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis; the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago; DePaul University Art Museum; and the University of Chicago.
Her work has been included in recent exhibitions such as Biennial, Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; "Painter, Painter" at the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis; "Informal Relations" at the Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art; "The Program" at ReMap4 in Athens, Greece; and "Michelle Grabner: I Work From Home" at Museum of Contemporary Art, Cleveland.
Zuckerman-Hartung has been the focus of solo exhibitions at Diana Lowenstein Gallery, Miami; Corbett vs. Dempsey, Chicago; The Suburban, Milwaukee; and Rachel Uffner Gallery, New York.
The lecture is free and open to the public. The School of Art invites all to learn about the experiences and expertise of Molly Zuckerman-Hartung this evening at the Hillside Auditorium.
