Changes to the National Science Foundation FastLane and Research.gov Websites

Effective immediately, the National Science Foundation has changed its registration process. The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs is here to assist you through this transition; however, we can no longer create your NSF FastLane/Research.gov account.

If you are a new user, you will need to go to the Research.gov website to self-register and request a role. If you are an existing user, you will need to login to migrate your account.

The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs has created an NSF FastLane & Research.gov changes webpage to support you during this transition. You can access the webpage from the link above or by going to the RSSP webpage and clicking the FastLane & Research.gov Changes button.

In addition to the change outlined above, effective April 30, NSF is launching its new Research.gov website for preparation and submission of full, research non-collaborative proposals (proposals that ONLY include personnel from your university/campus, i.e. U of A).
