Physical Activity Courses Available During Summer Sessions

Racquetball is one of the classes offered during the summer.

Several one-credit-hour physical activity courses will be offered this summer at the University of Arkansas.

All the courses with the PEAC code can typically be used as electives in degree programs. They will be taught by Dean Gorman, professor of kinesiology.

Summer Intersession May 14-25

  • PEAC 1621 Fitness Concepts, 9:15-10:30 a.m. M-S (11 class sessions)
  • PEAC 1251 Beginning Racquetball 12:45-2:15 p.m. M-S (11 class sessions)
  • PEAC 1391 Fitness Walking 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. M-S (11 class sessions)

Summer First Session May 29 - June 29 (note: each of these classes ends June 12)

  • PEAC 1471 Badminton 9:15-10:45 a.m. MTWTF
  • PEAC 1221 Beginning Jogging 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. MTWTF
  • PEAC 1391 Fitness Walking 12:45-2:15 p.m. MTWTF

Summer Second Session July 2 - Aug. 3 (note: each of these classes ends July 16)

  • PEAC 1621 Fitness Concepts 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. MTWTF
  • PEAC 1391 Fitness Walking 9:15-10:45 a.m. MTWTF
  • PEAC 1251 Beginning Racquetball 12:45-2:15 p.m. MTWTF
