Students, parents, and guests attending University of Arkansas commencement now have a convenient way to find useful and up-to-date information about the events. The Office of the Registrar has released a new mobile guide that gives users access to important information about the commencement ceremonies, including schedules, maps, speakers, prospective graduates, and more.

Students can also use the app to find details about when and where to report on the day of the ceremony.

"We wanted to develop a more convenient and sustainable method of getting information to students and guests about our commencement events," said Dave Dawson, associate vice provost for enrollment services and university registrar.  While a printed program will still be available to guests, the online guidebook will include information that can be updated until the day of the ceremony, including the names of prospective graduates. "To meet publishing deadlines for our printed program, we are often not able to include the names of students who apply late for graduation," said Dawson. "However, with the online guidebook, we can include the names of prospective graduates who apply after the deadline, which is a great benefit to these students and their family."

The University of Arkansas Commencement guide is at guidebook.com/g/uacommencement.
