Fourteen students will serve as Sam M. Walton College of Business ambassadors for the 2018-19 school year.

The student ambassadors selected each year assist Walton College's Undergraduate Programs Office with recruiting. "These students assist the Undergraduate Programs Office with recruitment efforts through sharing their positive college experiences with prospective students and their families throughout the year," said Sierra Hayes of the Undergraduate Programs Office. "It was a tough decision, as always, but we have a great group of ambassadors for the next school year."

Some of the 2017-18 ambassadors said the experience expanded their learning as it gave them a chance to give back to the Walton College.

"To me being a Walton Ambassador has been an honor," said 2017-18 ambassador Andrew Henn, a Walton College senior. "Every week, I get to speak to perspective students and tell them everything Walton has to offer. I get to talk to them about what it is like being a student here in Northwest Arkansas. I may be biased but after hearing everything we have here, I wouldn't go anywhere else in the country! WoooPig."

Ambassador Adia Threatt, also a senior, said she enjoyed helping prospective students and their parents make a life-changing decision. "As an ambassador, you realize that you are impacting a huge decision for their future during their short time here," she said. "Through my time in the program, I have been able to take advantage of so many opportunities and meet so many people that I would not have had the ability to do if it wasn't for the doors that being a Walton Ambassador opened for me."

"Being an ambassador for this college has been so rewarding in and of itself," Threatt said.
