Current U of A Parking Permits Are Extended Through August
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – University parking permits that are due to expire on July 31 have been extended and will not expire until Aug. 31.
Faculty, staff and students can begin buying new permits online on Aug. 1 at the Transit and Parking website. Parking permit holders should not discard their current permit until they renew it in August.
The new timeline for purchasing parking permits allows time for new students to buy a permit before the August intersession begins on Aug. 6 and regular classes start on Aug. 20.
This later deadline for purchasing parking permits will not affect resident reserved requests or the garage permit waiting list. New students will be able to pick up their permit when they arrive on campus for the fall semester and garage permits will be offered to people on the waiting list when available.
