Upgraded Mascot Rooms.

Even though it seems like summer is a time to take a break and relax a little, the Arkansas Union staff uses this time to make improvements and update the facility. Over the past two months our staff have made major improvements to meeting rooms that are located on the fifth floor of the building.

The renovated rooms feature: new carpets, a fresh coat of paint, new 90-inch TV's and a new air handler that helps to keep the rooms at a cool temperature. Each of the rooms has a unique name such as "Big Red" for the 507 room, "Sue E" for 508, "Boss Hog" for the 509 room, "Ribby" for 510 as well as "Pork Chop" for the 511 room. All of the rooms overlook the Donald W. Reynolds Razorback football stadium, which gives the rooms a nice view.

We want all of the students to have opportunity and utilize those rooms for studying, meetings, event planning, and other purposes. You can reserve any of those rooms, as well as an information table or a table tent by going on the virtualems.uark.edu website.

The Arkansas Union cares about your experience as a college student and wants to make sure that our facilities and equipment are up to date and are easily accessible for you to use. We hope you enjoy the new updates and have a great time while in the Union.

If you notice any issues or have ideas for future Arkansas Union updates, please do not hesitate to contact unionga@uark.edu
