Participants Needed for Workplace Behavior Study

The Department of Management in the Sam M. Walton College of Business is seeking participants for a study on workplace behavior. Please see the study details below:

  • Qualifications: Must be 18 or older to participate.
  • How long will it take? The entire session should take approximately 45 minutes.
  • How much will I be paid? Between $7 and $17. You will receive $7 just for showing up and participating. Based on your performance, you will have an opportunity to earn up to an extra $10 (i.e., your compensation will range from a minimum of $7 to a maximum of $17). On top of that, four participants will each receive an extra $25 performance bonus.
  • Where will the research take place? The research will take place in the Behavioral Business Research Lab in room 127 of J.B. Hunt Center for Academic Excellence (1st floor, across from the elevator).
  • When will the research take place? There are a variety of time slots available across several days.
  • How do I sign up? Signing up is simple. Just follow the instructions below to create a participant account for the Behavioral Business Research Lab.

Instructions for signing up:

  1. Create a participant account in Behavioral Business Research Lab's SONA system at waltoncollege.sona-systems.com. Make sure you select "Payment" as one of the courses in your profile to get on our email list for study recruitment.
  2. Confirm the email address through SONA email in your inbox, to activate your SONA participant account.
  3. Login into your SONA account and go to "Available studies." Click on the study named, Workplace Behavior Study to see the available time slots and sign up.
  4. Show up at the Behavioral Business Research Lab (127 JBHT) 5 minutes before your session.
