Deadline Friday for STEM Camp Offered by CMASE, Bumpers College Departments

Registration for a children's three-day summer STEM camp are being taken through Friday by the University of Arkansas Center for Mathematics and Science Education in collaboration with three departments in the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences.

STEM refers to science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

CMASE is working with the departments of animal science, food science and horticulture to host the camp Aug. 1-3. The camp is open to students who have completed kindergarten through fourth grade. Registration is $105 and includes 3½ hours of STEM activities for each of the three days.

Campers can attend either an 8 to 11:30 a.m. or 1:30 to 5 p.m. session each day.

The camp takes place at the CMASE offices, 346 N. West Ave., Room 202, Fayetteville. Campers should be dropped off 15 minutes prior to their session.
