Phishing Scam for iTunes Gift Cards
Avoid a summer phishing attempt by alerting IT security if something curious hits your inbox.
A phishing scam is hitting University of Arkansas inboxes. The subject line says "Follow Up" and appears to come from a university administrator. The recipient is instructed to pick up $100 iTunes gift cards, send photos of the gift card information and await reimbursement.
If you receive email of this type, do not follow the instructions and do not respond to the email. Forward the email to security@uark.edu.
