Fall Program Prepares Human Resource Professionals for Certification Exam

ROGERS, Ark. – Human resource professionals can register online for a 16-week course that will update their knowledge and prepare them for certification exams by the Society for Human Resource Management.

Classes in the SHRM Learning System program run from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursdays from Aug. 23 to Dec. 13. The cost is $1,299, which includes the textbook “The SHRM Body of Competency and Knowledge.” A 10 percent discount is available for University of Arkansas faculty, staff and current students.

Working professionals can choose from flexible study options: in person at the Global Campus in Rogers, 3300 Market St., Suite 402; live online during course times; and through recorded online sessions.

Certified human resource professionals will teach current practices and competencies to help attendees prepare for the Certified Professional in Human Resources or the Senior Certified Professional in Human Resources certification exam administered by the Society for Human Resource Management. The SHRM website provides exam costs and dates.

Attendees benefit from a structured learning environment, access to online resources and mobile applications, and the opportunity to build their peer network.
