Avoid Salary Increase Phishing Scam
This recent phishing attempt uses familiar logos to appear more official.
An elaborate phishing scam requesting that users access documents related to a 2018 salary Increase is hitting UARK inboxes. This email has the subject line “FYI: Salary Increase Document.” The message indicates that you have received a salary increase of 10% or higher in an effort to entice you to click the provided link for information. This link pulls up a sign-on box requesting UARK credentials, followed by a second box requesting bank account details.
