Students Invited to Meeting Monday for 'Exercise is Medicine' Campaign

The University of Arkansas is participating this year in the Exercise is Medicine on Campus initiative sponsored by the American College of Sports Medicine and has scheduled an informational meeting at 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27, in Room 316 of the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Building.

At the meeting, Bryce Daniels, a graduate assistant in the Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation, will explain the initiative and the ways for students to participate. The initiative will give everyone the opportunity to improve health and promote physical activity on campus and for some to gain research experience. Faculty and staff members are also welcome to come learn about the initiative.

For more information, email Daniels at bxd013@email.uark.edu.
