Webinar to Focus on Leveraging Change to Develop Better Leaders

The Master's in Operations Management and M.S. in Engineering Management programs will offer a free webinar Sept. 25 on how to leverage periods of change to develop better leaders.

The webinar is titled "Leading Through Change" and is presented by Travis McNeal, an adjunct instructor in the Master of Science in Operations Management Program, a program of the Department of Industrial Engineering. McNeal works in Walmart Supply Chain as the Director of Change Management and Strategic Communications. He teaches Human Resource and Organizing for Change for the Operations Management Program.

From McNeal:

We all hear that "the only constant is change" and that "change is hard."  What if there was a different narrative?  What if organizations going through change actually resulted in higher performance, engagement and better leadership?  We will explore how organizations can leverage periods of change to help develop better leaders.  It is widely known that effective change management requires sponsorship — this means every leader, from the C-Suite to the front-line supervisor.

He will share practical and repeatable ways to help all leaders improve the way they lead change.

This webinar begins at noon Sept. 25, and is free and open to the public. Registration is required — register at the Webinar Series page to participate.
