Arkansas Union Announces New Website for Reservations

The Arkansas Union is unveiling a new website to assist patrons with booking reservable spaces in the facility. Now, patrons are able to navigate to unionevents.uark.edu to request meeting rooms, event spaces, information tables, and more.

"We previously had a website with a hard-to-remember name," said Union Associate Director Emilie Hook. "The new website functions just like the current one, but is much simpler to remember."

The website switch-over is now live, and frequent users are asked to bookmark the new address to help avoid confusion. The old website, VirtualEMS, will continue to function for a few months but will eventually be taken offline. The updated website is the latest in a series of enhancements made to the Arkansas Union event areas, including carpeting, audio-visual equipment, and more.

Patrons with questions are encouraged to contact the Arkansas Union at 575-2146 or at auevents@uark.edu, or to drop by Arkansas Union room 634 during business hours.
