FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The second week of the U of A United Way campaign is winding up and everyone is encouraged to turn in their donor cards or make a contribution online.

The campus community is also invited to buy a sweet treat or a hand-crafted item at this year’s Facilities Management Bake and Craft Sale, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (or until all the goodies are gone) on Friday Oct 12 in the front office of the Facilities Management building on Razorback Road.

Everything on sale was made by a member of the Facilities staff, and all proceeds go to the U of A United Way campaign to help children living in poverty in Northwest Arkansas. Last year’s sale raised almost $1000 and the Facilities staff are hoping to top that this year.

It’s a delicious way to give, and to help children in our community.

If you don’t get to this event Friday before everything’s been sold you’ll have another chance next week with IT Services holds it’s Spirit Week fundraiser with a different way to donate each day from Oct. 15-19.
