University Housing invites you to view and vote on new furniture for the Stadium Drive Residence Halls.

Those interested can drop in from 3-9 p.m. each day from Tuesday, Oct. 23 to Thursday, Oct. 25 at Futrall Hall. Please arrive on the east side of the hall near Lindell Avenue.

Numerous chair styles will be considered. Lounge furniture and other decorative elements planned for the common spaces will be showcased. Participants may use sticky dots to show how they feel about the furniture selections.

Modus studio and Mackey Mitchell Architects representatives will be on hand to assist.

"Students, staff and faculty are important to this process," said Flo Johnson, assistant vice chancellor for University Housing.

University Housing held three focus groups in February. The campus community provided feedback on the layout of resident rooms and common spaces at that time.

"It's important that we build a residential experience on campus that responds to what students want. Soliciting feedback like this is part of that process," she said.

The Stadium Drive Residence Halls is a 708-bed hall and creative workspace set to open Fall 2019 on the south side of campus. It is open to all students with priority given to upperclassman. Six Living Learning Communities (LLCs) focused on creative and innovative disciplines will be housed there. You can read more about the new hall at http://housing.uark.edu/newuarkhall.

Light refreshments will be served.
