Flu Vaccine Clinic at Arkansas Union on Oct. 31, Nov. 2

Flu season is here, and the best way to protect against the flu virus is to get your annual flu vaccine.

Pat Walker Health Center has partnered with the Washington County Health Unit to offer a flu vaccine clinic from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31, and Thursday, Nov. 1, in the Arkansas Union Connections Lounge.

Anyone who hasn't received the flu vaccine is encouraged to attend. Insurance will be accepted, however not required to recieve the flu vaccine.

Associated Student Government will also be in the Union Connections lounge, Oct. 30-31, raising awareness about the importance of getting the flu vaccine and taking appropriate steps to keep the campus community healthy.

Can't make the flu clinic?

The Allergy, Immunization & Travel clinic also has flu vaccines available. Anyone unable to attend the flu clinic on Nov. 2, is encouraged to schedule an appointment at myhealth.uark.edu or 479-575-7723. The health center also offers a Walk-in Flu Clinic, from 3 to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday's.
