Cyber Security Awareness Event in Arkansas Union Oct. 29 and 30
Everyone is encouraged to make sure that our online lives are kept safe and secure.
Throughout October, IT Services has highlighted ways to stay safe online as part of National Cyber Security Awareness Month. As the month ends, the need to stay safe online continues.
Students, faculty and staff are invited to stop by the Cyber Security Awareness table on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 29-30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside the Student Technology Center in the Arkansas Union.
Representatives from IT Services will be onsite answering computer security questions and offering tips regarding cybersecurity, passwords and best practices. Stop by the table for some actual free candy, check the security of your current password and learn about recent phishing emails hitting campus inboxes.
