National Association of Graduate and Professional Students to Host National Conference at U of A

The National Association of Graduate-Professional Students is a student-run national, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of graduate and professional students across the United States. Founded by student leaders in 1987, the association is the only national organization that represents the interests of graduate and professional students in public and private universities at local, state, regional and national levels.

The University of Arkansas is very proud to be the host of the national conference and will be welcoming graduate and professional students from across the United States.

Beginning Friday morning, the conference will consist of a variety of research presentations that exemplify the innovative work that graduate and professional students are doing across the U.S.

Please take a look at the conference schedule and join them at the presentations. All are welcome!

The national conference could not have been put together without a legion of volunteers and support from the following campus administrators:

  • Chancellor Joe Steinmetz
  • Provost Jim Coleman
  • Dean Kim Needy, Associate Dean Pat Koski, and the Graduate School and International Education
  • Dean John English, Associate Dean Bryan Hill, and the College of Engineering
  • Dean Michael T. Miller and the College of Education and Health Professions
  • Dean Todd Shields and the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences
  • Dean Margaret Sova McCabe and the School of Law
  • Dean Matthew Waller and the Walton College of Business
