Sooie Suit Up

The University Career Development Center, in collaboration with several Student Affairs and academic departments, will host the biannual Sooie Suit Up with their partner JCPenney on Sunday, Jan. 27, at the Northwest Arkansas Mall location. During this special event, U of A students will be able to purchase an entire men's or women's suit, including shirts/blouses, ties, belts, skirts, jackets, and shoes for 40-70 percent off.

In addition, students will learn style tips for suits and career wear in preparation for upcoming job interviews and career fairs. All UA students are encouraged to attend. Faculty and staff may also take advantage of the discount before or after working a volunteer shift at the event.

The Career Development Center is looking for faculty and staff members to assist students in selecting professional attire during this event. Shifts are in 2-hour intervals. Only faculty and staff who sign-up to volunteer for a shift (via GivePulse) may take advantage of the up to 70 percent discount.

Students and Volunteers may catch a shuttle to and from the event at the ARKU Bus Station from 5:30-10:30 p.m. The last shuttle from the Arkansas Union Bus Station to JCPenney leaves at 8:30 p.m.

Students and volunteers can register for this event at: https://goo.gl/6xXFZ2.
