Two new exhibits are now open on campus.

RazorBACK to the 90's, located on the second floor of Silas H. Hunt Hall, opened earlier this month and features the university's accomplishments and innovations in the 1990s. A wide selection of university memorabilia and other artifacts from the University of Arkansas Museum provides a quirky and vibrant look at this particular decade in U of A history. Mariah McElroy, a graduate assistant at the U of A Museum, designed and implemented the exhibit. It will be on display for one year.

In the Arkansas Union, the U of A Museum and Arkansas Archeological Survey teamed up for a new display on the fourth floor. The display accompanies the permanent exhibit which already resides there, Arkansas Native Americans. Once a year, a new interpretative theme and artifacts are incorporated into the display cases.

The new theme explores Native American storytelling through regional archeological materials from the U of A Museum: "The entirety of human history is comprised of a series of stories. ... It is in these stories, both big and small, where we find who we have been and who we are today." The exhibit opens today and will also be on display for one year.
