Get Tickets This Week for Taste of Africa
African Students Organization invites all students to attend Taste of Africa at 6 p.m. Sunday, April 14, at the Fayetteville Town Center, 15 W. Mountain St. Join us as we celebrate the diversity and flavors of Africa!
Tickets are free for students but students will need to pick up a ticket prior to the event. A limited number of non-student tickets are also available to purchase for $6.50. Ticket distribution will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday and Friday, March 28-29, at the Arkansas Union in front of the food court.
Taste of Africa gathers chefs from all over the African continent and allows them to prepare you a diverse, flavorful African meal. We will also have various entertainment activities such as plays and dances. This is an opportunity for all to learn from each other's cultures.
This event is supported by the Student Activities Fee as a funded event by the Associated Student Government and is free to all currently enrolled University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, students who pay the student activities fee. Spring Bike Drive Refurbishes Old Bikes for New Students
All donated bikes will be given to Pedal It Forward, a local nonprofit that will refurbish your bike and return it to the U of A campus to be gifted to a student in need. Hundreds of students have already benefited.
