Town Hall Discussions on Proposed Changes to Policies on Appointment and Promotion

The Faculty Senate Leadership and the Appointment, Promotion, and Tenure Committee will hold two town hall meetings to discuss proposed changes to Academic Policies 1405.12: Appointing and Assessing the Performance of Non-Tenure-Track Faculty and 1405.13: Guidelines for University and Distinguished Professor Appointments

The meetings will be held starting at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, March 26, and at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, March 27. Both sessions will be held in Mullins Library room 104.

All faculty are invited and encouraged to attend these meetings. Proposed changes may be accessed by visiting the Faculty Senate webpage and viewing either the agenda or the minutes from the April 10 Faculty Senate meeting.
