All In for Arkansas kicks off today with 1,871 minutes of fun and philanthropy.

"All In for Arkansas," a party with a purpose that includes fundraising support for all areas of the University of Arkansas campus, kicks off today for 1,871 minutes. The fourth annual day of giving celebrates the university's 148th birthday and features a birthday bash, giving matches and challenges and plenty of opportunities to show support for the U of A.

The event begins at 6 a.m. today and will conclude at 1:11 p.m. on April 4.

Participation is key to the success of All In for Arkansas, and numerous challenges will be issued throughout the event to encourage gifts of all sizes. The university will do most of the promotion through its social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, and through a robust network of Social Media Ambassadors.

Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to follow along on social media and show their pride and support of the university. All In for Arkansas is ALL about participation, and there are multiple ways to join in the fun:

  • Make a gift of any size to your favorite campus cause. Fund the preservation of Senior Walk, give to a scholarship that's close to your heart or pay tribute to your major with a gift to your college or school. You can even give to the university's new Student Success Center and directly support the university's retention and graduation efforts. It's easy to impact the areas of campus that have special meaning to you. Faculty and staff can also contribute via payroll deduction.
  • Attend the on-campus Birthday Bash, hosted by the Student Alumni Association and All In for Arkansas teams from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the Union Mall. There will be birthday sweets, a photo booth, party favors and three new exciting giving day contests. You won't want to miss the fun as groups face off to earn $500 "bonus bucks" for their favorite #Allin4Arkansas project by competing in U of A Trivia (12:15), Mystery Cake Tasting (12:45) and Hogwild Hula Hoop (1:15). It's the perfect opportunity to exercise your body, brain and taste buds while supporting the
U of A! Contest sign up required.
  • Show off your #Allin4Arkansas spirit on social media to help spread the word and encourage others to give as well. Posting on social media helps generate buzz for the event and inspires an epic outpouring of Arkansas pride. Make your posts public or shared to become eligible for photo contests and earn "bonus bucks" for your favorite participating college, school, program or scholarship fund. Check out the challenges here.
  • Volunteer for a 30-minute shift to record donor thank you videos. Recording personalized videos is fun, easy and rewarding—and they make all the difference for our donors! Bring your attitude of gratitude and join the celebration by signing up for a 30-minute shift (or two or three!).

All In for Arkansas gifts can be made to all areas of campus, including the Advance Arkansas Scholarship initiative, which was launched in 2017 during All In. Gifts will also count toward Campaign Arkansas, the university's capital campaign to advance academic opportunity at the U of A.

Make your gift early and follow the fun at allinforarkansas.uark.edu.
