The Office of Scholarly Communications and the Honors College invite all honors students to an open house in the upstairs Honors College lounge in Gearhart Hall (GEAR 258), set for 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, and 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, April 24. Drop in to learn about the University of Arkansas' institutional repository, ScholarWorks@UARK, and receive hands-on assistance with submitting your honors thesis. No appointment is necessary. Light refreshments will be served.

"We are excited about this opportunity to meet with students and help them share their research by submitting their thesis to ScholarWorks@UARK," said Cedar Claire Middleton, institutional repository coordinator.

Students should bring a .doc or .pdf copy of their thesis, and also a list of keywords, disciplines, committee members and readers; any extra information they would like to share in the Comments field; and a Submission Agreement signed by the student and their adviser. Any students who do not have these documents on hand are also welcome to attend and learn how to submit their thesis on their own when they are ready.

The Office of Scholarly Communications is jointly sponsored by the University Libraries and the Office of Research and Innovation. ScholarWorks@UARK highlights a growing collection of student work, faculty publications, presentations and teaching materials. The U of A is committed to disseminating its research and scholarship as widely as possible.
