Apply to Be a Peer Educator for RESPECT Sexual Assault Awareness Internship Program

STAR Central is currently accepting applications for the 2019-20 school year to join the award-winning peer education group, RESPECT (Rape Education Services by Peers Encouraging Conscious Thought).

RESPECT is a group of men and women who provide educational presentations and interactive events on sexual assault issues through peer health education. They are students helping other students to understand the issues of sexual assault, relationship violence and its risk reduction and prevention. These programs are developed specifically for the target audience — college students and prospective college students.

To apply, students should visit the RESPECT website at respect.uark.edu and download the application from the homepage.

Applications must be submitted by noon on Monday, May 6, to Pat Walker Health Center, room 2129.
