Study Rooms Available Again to Help Students Prepare for Final Exams

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – This finals week the Registrar’s Office is once again responding to student requests, arranging for about 70 rooms across campus to be used for individual study – not group study or review – starting Monday, May 6 The rooms are available on a first-come basis.

Schedules will also be posted for each day on the U of A Twitter and Instagram accounts.

Most of the study rooms are available between 8 a.m. and noon or noon and 5 p.m., but the “UREC Study Hall” -- HPER 310 --  will be open evenings from 5-10 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, Monday, Dec. 10 and Tuesday, Dec. 11.

HPER 310 will be open May 5, 6, & 7 from 5:00-10:00 p.m.  This is a student lounge within the HPER building and University Recreation (UREC) hosts “UREC Study Hall” in this space for students.  Please let me know if you need additional information.

Mullins Library and other traditional study locations will also be open for extended hours during finals week.

The Arkansas Union is also providing study rooms, starting May 3. 

For night-time studying, room 310 in the HPER building will be open as “UREC Study Hall” from 5-10 p.m. Sunday, May 5 through Tuesday, May 7.

And the Fowler House Conservatory will once again be open to students studying for exams,from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, May6 through Wednesday, May 8.

This tradition started in Dec. 2017 after students pointed out the need for more places to study during finals week and it has been very popular with students.
