Phishing Scam for iTunes Gift Cards

A phishing scam is hitting U of A inboxes. The message appears to come from a university administrator or dean. The recipient is instructed to pick up iTunes gift cards, then provide the 16-digit code on the back of the card via phone, text or e-mail and await reimbursement.

If you receive an email of this type, do not follow the instructions and do not respond to the email. Forward the email to security@uark.edu.
