After months of hard work, the university's IT Services website has a new design. The revamped website provides the campus community with easy-to-find service information, improved navigation and an updated look and feel.

"The new website reflects our customer-centric focus by delivering the information our campus community is looking for quickly and easily," CIO Dawn Stoyanoff said. "I want to thank our communications team for the months of work to improve the website while still supporting numerous other projects."

The goal in designing this interactive website was to provide simple access to services. Site visitors can more easily find information by navigating a one-click path from the home page to the top featured services: Wi-Fi, email, file storage, software, etc.

"The new website reflects modern visual design standards and provides an intuitive and consistent sitewide navigation system that directs customers to the information most relevant to them," Chris Butler, director of communications, said.

The website is also fully responsive with mobile devices, making it easy to navigate on a wide range of web browsers and portable devices.

"I'm particularly proud of the way the new drop-down navigation provides wayfinding to users from anywhere on the site and from any device they use," Erin Griffin, the website's project lead, said. "As users go deeper into the site, they can quickly find logins, request forms and help tickets for every service."

The system status alert feature uses green, orange or red to communicate the status of campus systems at a glance. During an outage, a red notice will automatically display as soon as the page loads. This feature is available on each page throughout the site. In addition to the current system status, the feature also links to upcoming maintenance that could impact services.
