High-Impact Practices Conference Slated for July 31

The University of Arkansas will host a conference on high-impact practices for student success and wellness from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, at the Donald W. Reynolds Center for Enterprise Development, located at 145 N. Buchanan Ave. The conference is free and open to all of campus.

During the "Are we HIP and Well Enough?" conference, attendees can attend sessions centered on activities and high-impact educational practices implemented on the U of A campus while also participating in conversations concerning student success programs.

The conference also explores links between high-impact practices and wellness and is designed primarily for faculty, staff and graduate students, according to Trevor Francis, associate vice provost and director of student success.

The conference is sponsored by the Pat Walker Health Center, University Recreation, Fulbright College Student Success, Office of Student Success and Multicultural Center.
