UA Research and Discovery Camp

First-, second-, and third-year tenure-track faculty and postdoctoral associates are invited to apply to attend the UA Research and Discovery Camp. The purpose of this two-day camp is to introduce new faculty or postdoctoral associates to strategies and techniques that will make their research programs more successful.

During the camp, participants will learn about university and outside resources that can support research and scholarly activity. They will also be coached in identifying and pursuing external funding, including but not limited to, federal, state, industry and foundation funding.

The camp will be held off-campus in Eureka Springs on Sept. 17-18. Transportation, housing and meals will be provided. The Office of the Provost and the Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation will cover all expenses for the workshop. The application can be found online at facultydev.uark.edu and the deadline to apply is Tuesday, Sept. 3. Approximately 30 participants will be chosen for this hands-on informative workshop.
