Free Game Day Parking for Bicycles

Free Game Day Parking for Bicycles
UA Office for Sustainability

We've all seen the endless line of cars creeping down the streets around the stadium on Razorbacks football game days. All that traffic can put a real damper on the atmosphere — literally. That car traffic is not only reducing our fun it's also vastly increasing our carbon footprint.

But there is a better way — just ride a bike. Riding a bike is a fast, fun and healthy alternative to being stuck in traffic. And thanks to a new bike valet service offered by the UA Office for Sustainability and VeoRide biking to the game will be more convenient than ever.  The bike valet and will be located on the south side of the Arkansas Union just a short walk from the stadium and all the pre-game festivities.

Map of campus showing drop-off areaA bike valet works much like a coat check service. People leave their bikes with an attendant, the bike is tagged and the customer receives a ticket matched to the bike. The valet service will be available starting 90 minutes before kickoff. Bikes will be kept secure during the game and will be available to pick up until one-hour after the game.

This program is just one of many reasons that the University of Arkansas has been designated a Bicycle Friendly University by the League of American Bicyclists.
