Author and Political Science Professor Joshua Dunn Kicks off Education Reform Lecture Series

Author and political science professor Joshua Dunn will be speak at the University of Arkansas on Friday, Sept. 6, in a lecture titled, "The Elephant in the Classroom: Conservative Professors, Viewpoint Diversity, and Higher Education."

The program will be at noon in room 343 of the Graduate Education Building. The Friday lecture series is hosted by the Department of Education Reform of the University of Arkansas College of Education and Health Professions.

Dunn's research focuses on judicial policymaking, specifically the influence of the courts on education. He's a professor and Chair of the Department of Political Science at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs

Dunn is also the author of Complex Justice: The Case of Missouri v. Jenkins (University of North Carolina Press 2008) and the co-editor, with Martin West, of From Schoolhouse to Courthouse: The Judiciary's Role in American Education (Brookings 2009). He also authors a quarterly article on law and education for Education Next.

Unless otherwise indicated, all lectures will be held at noon on Fridays in GRAD 343. Please make sure to RSVP before 1 p.m. on the Wednesday before the scheduled lecture.
