Vernon Wall, president and founder of One Better World LLC, will visit the University of Arkansas campus on Wednesday, Sept. 11. Wall has 30 years experience working in Student Affairs at various universities. He currently lives in Washington, D.C., where he serves as the director of business development for LeaderShape Inc.

One Better World is a consulting firm specializing in engaging others in courageous social justice and equity conversations. Wall was invited to visit the University of Arkansas by the School of Social Work as a part of the school's work to recognize privilege and balance inequities.  Participants in his past workshops describe his style as challenging but non-threatening, motivating, lively and interactive.

The school is honored to invite Wall to campus and invites all faculty, students, staff and our community to join a conversation with Wall, "Exploring our Identities with Vernon Wall. A Discussion about Diversity and Inclusion," from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, at in the Center for Multicultural and Diversity Education. This will be an interactive discussion between Wall and all participants.

A sandwich buffet will be provided by the University of Arkansas Office for Diversity and Inclusion. No RSVP required but seating and food are limited to 50 guests.
