Cadet Alego, plans to branch Medical Corps or Aviation.

Sydney Algeo, the Cadet of the Week, has been a cadet for two years and is planning to branch Medical Corps or Aviation. She is majoring in biology, premed, and plans to graduate and commission in May 2021. Cadet Alego joined Army ROTC for the opportunity to attend college on full scholarships and commission as an officer.

Algeo plans to branch either in medical or aviation, she also stated that the most valuable lessons she has learned are new leadership skills and how to implement them in many more situations outside of Army ROTC. Alego's advice to future cadets is, before picking a branch, take any and every opportunity they can get to experience that field.
