Oboist Theresa Delaplain Releases Album with Pianist Tomoko Kashiwagi

Theresa Delaplain and Tomoko Kashiwagi from the Department of Music have released Souvenirs, an album of music for oboe and piano on the MSR Classics label.

The music represents several different countries and styles, with each piece being a "souvenir" from that country.

Composers include Grazyna Bacewicz (Poland), Pedro Soler (Spain), Edmund Rubbra (United Kingdom), Merab Partskhaladze (Russia), and U of A's Robert Mueller (United States).

The album is currently available in compact disc form on Amazon and will be available as a digital download later this fall.
