Sutton Barrister's Union Trial Competition Final Round This Friday
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The final round of the 2019 William H. Sutton Barrister's Union Trial Competition will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, in the E.J. Ball Courtroom, located on the second floor of Waterman Hall.
University of Arkansas School of Law students David McAnally and Chris Hooks will argue their case against fellow students Chris Carwile and Kelli Albrecht.
The round will be judged by an esteemed panel:
- U.S. Magistrate Judge Joe J. Volpe, Eastern District of Arkansas
- Judge Kenneth S. Hixson, Arkansas Court of Appeals
- Judge Robin Green, 19th West Judicial Circuit
The event is open to the public, and the campus and legal communities are invited to attend. Please arrive by 12:45 p.m. to be seated for the trial to begin promptly at 1.
