Faculty can preview classroom details using a new search feature on the IT Services website.

Classroom information is now at your fingertips with a new search feature from IT Services, available at classrooms.uark.edu.

Faculty can use the search to preview the details of a classroom where they are teaching. Classroom details include capacity, furniture, teaching equipment and more. The room's clicker channel and tech support contact number are also provided.

"As instructors, we often need access to information about the rooms we are teaching in so that we can plan and adjust our teaching accordingly," Kathryn Zawisza, directory of academic technology and innovation, said. "The great thing about this new search feature is that it allows you to view a 360 image of the room to get a 'feel' for the space where you are teaching."

To get started, visit classrooms.uark.edu and enter the name of your building, or click the Show all button to browse the full list.

Only general access classrooms that are shared across departments are listed at this time. Departmental and specialty classrooms are not yet included. Contact Kathryn Zawisza for more information or suggestions.
