Music Partners With House of Songs to Bring Argentine Singer 'Nadia' to U of A Campus
In conjunction with House of Songs Ozarks, the Department of Music welcomes singer songwriter Nadia Larcher to the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall stage for a guest artist concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, at the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall.
One of the most captivating folkloric artists of our time, Argentine vocalist and composer Nadia is at the forefront of the new folk music scene in Buenos Aires.
Melding tradition with the modern, she has performed numerous concerts throughout South America as a soloist and with her ensembles, Seraarrebol, Proyecto Pato and Don Olimpio. She has also shared the stage with such leading artists as Juan Falú, Liliana Herrero, Juan Quintero, Aca Seca Trío and Carlos Aguirre, among others.
For this concert Nadia will share the stage with Ensemble Iberica for a night of Latin American music. The concert is free and open to the public.
