Panel Discussion on Diversity and Inclusion in Finance Set for Nov. 18

The Department of Accounting at the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas and the Northwest Arkansas chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants Inc. are sponsoring a panel discussion of the successes and challenges of diversity and inclusion in finance.

The panel will take place Monday, Nov. 18, from 3-5 p.m. at Grit Studios, 125 W. Central Avenue, Suite 200, in Bentonville.

Featured panelists are:

  • Brandi Joplin, chief financial officer, Sam's Club
  • Steve Gibbs, chief accounting officer, Tyson Foods Inc.
  • Barbara Marchini-Ellis, partner, Ernst & Young
  • Barbara Lofton, director of diversity and inclusion, Walton College

The panel discussion is free and open to the public.
