Time for a Password Change?

IT Services at the U of A protects university resources from phishing threats by implementing defenses on campus.

It's easy to get fooled by a simple email informing you about an opportunity to earn extra income by "clicking here" or "applying now." Always remember, if a message seems too good to be true, it often is. A malicious email will often include a link that looks legitimate but is not.

Although many faculty, staff and students on campus receive phishing messages, only 10 percent of all cases are reported. If you clicked on a link in a suspicious email and provided your user information, then it's time to take action with two simple steps:

  1. Forward the suspicious message to security@uark.edu.
  2. Update your password. Easily change or recover your password online at password.uark.edu.
