Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Host Their Annual Thanksgiving Dinner
Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority hosted their annual Thanksgiving Dinner at the Baptist Union.
On Sunday evening, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. hosted their annual Thanksgiving Dinner at the Baptist Union on campus. This holiday tradition is one of the most anticipated events of the season.
"We love giving back to our community. This tradition started many years ago to show our appreciation to University of Arkansas students who support us throughout the year. Service is what we do!" said Kandyase Flanigan, Zeta Phi Beta Chapter president.
For more than 20 years, students from various parts of campus come to fellowship together during this event before leaving to spend time with their families.
This year, more than 75 students enjoyed a big Thanksgiving feast, which included a home-cooked meal with turkey, ham, dressing, mac and cheese, green beans, corn, etc. Chapter members served all meals including a variety of desserts.
"We are truly blessed to be a blessing to others. This is one more reason for us to be grateful this holiday season," said Justin Gill, Phi Beta Sigma Chapter president.
