As finals approach, the University Libraries have teamed up with our partners across campus to offer study breaks that are free and open to all U of A students. Mullins Library will also offer extended hours

Monday, Dec. 9 

  • Service Learning Initiative — 11:00 a.m. — coffee and cookies 

Tuesday, Dec. 10 

  • Office of the Dean of Students — 9:30 a.m. — grab n' go fruits and snacks, water and coffee 
  • Honors College — 3 p.m. — coffee and cookies
  • Special Collections — 3 p.m. — button making and holiday cards 

Wednesday, Dec. 11 

  • Office of Academic Initiatives and Integrity — 9:30 a.m. — coffee, tea and granola bars
  • UAPD — 3 p.m. — K9 Officer Faye and friends
  • Greek Life — 5 p.m. — hot cocoa  

Thursday, Dec. 12 

  • Global Campus — 10 a.m. — Legos, coffee and Pop-Tarts
  • University Housing — 1 p.m. — coffee and cookies
  • Greek Life — 5 p.m. — hot cocoa  

Sunday, Dec. 15 

  • Associated Student Government — 10 p.m. — coffee and cookies 

Monday, Dec. 16 

  • University Libraries — 9:30 a.m. — bagel breakfast with coffee and orange juice 

Tuesday, Dec. 17 

  • Fulbright Student Services — 8:30 a.m. — hand snacks, coffee and juice  

Wednesday, Dec. 18 

  • Special Collections — 9:30 a.m. — button making and holiday cards
  • UAPD — 3 p.m. — K9 Officer Faye and friends 

Need help with that end-of-term paper? You can schedule a research consultation by emailing your subject librarian or refer@uark.edu. CLASS-Plus offers writing support and course-specific tutoring on Level 2 of Mullins, and also online. Be sure to check out Ask Us for answers to popular questions and our Research Guides for class and subject guides, research tips and more. And don't forget about RazorRush Document Delivery Service! Librarians will scan the articles you need and email them directly to you. Looking for a place to study? Levels 3 and 4 of Mullins Library will remain open through finals and close Friday, Dec. 20. Additional seating is available on Level 1.
